Moving the Office and Headache.
I did a couple of videos the other day about my plans with DTube, my presence on Steemit and so forth. But none made it to the upload stage.
Partly, because it rained. And rain means to get ready for possible flooding and to prepare. That is one drawback of living usually without rain (besides the lack of water) Usually, we are not ready for rain at all.
The move of my office and basically reorganizing the house is a consequence of my friend moving in. I have to get a move on it since my husband will be back next week and I want things to be normal by then - whatever normal means...
I am just showing you the pantry area I am putting together. I had two shelves and as I am thinking about how to set everything up, I had the brilliant idea to put them on top of each other. That way, we also get a bit of a room divider.
My son in law helped me (as in he did it) to put one on top of the other, bolt them together, screw them into the other shelf against the wall, and secure them to the ceiling for earth quake safety.
Now, I get to continue take everything off the shelves in what used to be the office/guest room and is now going to be the bedroom. Move the shelf and, and, and. You will see updates soon.
Oh, Marianne! I sure hope that you get to feeling better really soon! I don't get headaches, so when I have one, I am really a big baby about it. :) You certainly have your work cut out for you! You are a really nice person to make room for your friend!

It is exciting!! the thing which has been an ongoing battle with the space is that rodents like to make their way in. I think we have found all the little tiny spaces they can squeeze through. It makes the whole thing a bit more difficult.
But there is always a solution :)

Wow! You've got so much on your plate right now. Like a lot of work. And like we said before, your friend is very fortunate to have you in her life and I'm sure that you will benefit each other in this whole thing. That was great of your son-in-law to help you with the shelves. I'm very sorry that you are experiencing a headache, I certainly hope it's gone by now or soon. You know that I can relate! hugs

I saw some posts about flooding in Nado too. Hang in there, and the sun will shine soon.
Yes. I think there will be another big downpour later tonight. Right now, it is just steady rain. All my kids made it home safe - and that is the important part...
I just saw more nado posts that were insane. They had several feet of water on some streets. Wow. This is quite a mess.

Thank you. The headache is gone now. But I will make sure to have a diffuser with essential oils going tonight.
A lot of (extra/unexpected) work. Good you have a son in law helping you at and I assume your friend does too. I wonder what your office will be and really hope your headaches (understandable but a burden) will belong to the past soon!

I needed to do a lot of sorting and such anyways. It just got accelerated by her moving in. MY son in law knows how to fix a lot of things and it is really helpful when he is willing. And I know that my friend will help a lot with getting the garden where I want it to be and also, enable me to travel without having to worry about chickens, dogs, plants and so forth...
Always so much to do! Here too. I hope you feel all the way better soon and free to do more writing and videos 😊
