What If You Realised How Powerful You Are?
to help them see that they hold the key to change, that we all have the power to re arrange.
Whatever it is that is dragging us down,
we just need to have faith and to stand tall, to connect with the ground.
We each have so much potential,
we can create what it is we need, to break free from these constraints,
there is no need to work till we bleed.
swimming in ideas that have me disbelieving
In this image we present of holding our own,
of representing ourselves as being home grown,
eyes wide open, what do you see
can you sieve through all this hypocrisy
tied up in images of what we have been sold
how long has it been since you broke the mold?
Are you blind, to the cracks that are weakening their hold
because we are all powerful and mighty, have you never been told?
contained and subdued that was once our way,
but I have tasted the sweet nectar, that grows wild within us each day,
these ideas that break through the bland, that tease and tempt
these dreams are what we need to bring into existence, not hold in contempt .
The playful, the wild, the true essence of who we are
we were never meant to lose ourselves and travel so far,
away from the power we all hold inside,
you were always meant to be your one true guide!

Honestly, although I'm not much of a fan of poetry. I have to say that this one in particular has a message that I like quite a lot, it's a beautiful message on a par with powerful. Very nice!

I liked this a lot. People need to realise that most successful people had a huge amount of self belief before they achieve greatness. Most of us are missing that mindset.
