USA - When the state leaves people down
The government is avoiding to offer help to those who and when they need it most - during a natural disaster. Then concealing the dimensions of the catastrophe and denying the number of fatalities.
The government is avoiding to provide accessible healthcare for all. One in five people are still without it. Because the US healthcare system is intended primarily to generate profits for insurance and hospitals.
When the state withdraws, social darwinism and the struggle for survival arise. Freedom of choice? Yes - for those who can afford it.
