My Journey of Purpose

Around 6 years ago, I have suffered a terrible motorbike accident, which broke most of my bones.
Both my legs were crushed and rebuilt with tons of titanium.

X-Men's Wolverine got nothing on me. I'm somewhat bionic too ;)

In this life-changing experience I learned who I was. I separated myself from pain, which gave me a start to traveling within, discovering the infinity of my inner multiverse. I stopped being my thoughts.

I was becoming less interested in superficial lifestyle and moved to smaller and quieter towns.
The last civilized place I lived in was surfer's paradise, Tarifa, Spain.

I've set up an organic, vegetarian bar with help of my friend. After 3 months of having amazing times, we found out that our partner was delusional and there was no way of cooperating with him.

This was kind of the last straw for me. I needed some time to think.

I decided to try another life and wanted to learn what most humans have forgotten; how to live with nature, being a part of it and becoming self-sufficient.

Whenever some friends visited me in Spain, I always took them into the Sierra Nevada Natural Park.
This is where a couple of Czech friends found an abandoned, tiny house, in the middle of nowhere and I always enjoyed a nice smoke up with them.

You know this feeling when you go for holidays you love so much, that you don't want to go back?
I had this all my life. I went to Rio, wanted to stay. Went to Crete, same... but there's always this programmed feeling of responsibilities, conditioned into adulthood. In the end it is nothing else, but fear of the unknown.

What if you have a traumatic accident and it teaches you how temporary this ride of life is and taking it so seriously, you fear to live it, is a complete waste of time?
Better to live 1 year your fullest you, than living 100 years in a mediocre comfort zone. I died anyway, to wake up surprised to still be in this dimension. What is the worst that could happen?

If I enjoyed so much visiting them, why not just stay in the area I enjoy so much? I was never getting attached to one place anyway. My roots can adapt to any soil and environment.

Maybe moving into the wild 3,5 year from loosing the ability to walk, was a bit of a challenging idea, but after you face death, not living in the present, like everything is an adventure, is the only scary thing that remains.

I packed up my van with blown gasket and after 12h, I managed to drive 300km up the mountains and reached my destination – wild forest.

The plan was to take an axe and go into the wild and build some temporary hut. It wasn't getting very cold at night yet, but 1st of October is the beginning of the end of hot months.

While walking about for couple of days I saw my dream come true. Synchronicity has always been my sidekick, ever since I learned to listen to it.

There, in the middle of virgin forest, was a half-ruin of a house.
Half-covered in vegetation, half in shit, it looked like it was going to collapse on me. The smell of dead rats, mice and many years of their shit did not discourage me neither. For first month, I chose to sleep in a little hut attached to the house, as it felt much safer.

While most of people thought I lost my mind, I found my paradise!

6 hectares of the most beautiful land; 3 hectares of pure jungle that I still have not been able to access, and 3 hectares of ancient terraces, built by thousands of Moros and their donkeys, around 500 years ago.
Nobody knows how old the house is really, but I assume it is at least 300 years old.

And here I am. 2,5 years later. Many adventures, pain and a ton of learning have passed. From knowing absolutely nothing about homesteading, farming, building, nor any real-life skills apart from cooking, now I feel that I could thrive completely independently of the human herd. And it feels like the right time, as the herd seems to be fighting for the best sits in their train falling from a cliff.

I do not see how could I ever leave this tough, but magical place.

It looks much different now. In next posts I will show you how it looked when I arrived and all the changes till today... just need to sort thousands of photos and vids from my 3 laptops, 4 phones, a few SD cards and HD :D

I have connected water, climbing through the jungle, 500m away from the house, rebuilt part of the collapsed house, carrying tons of building materials from where I park my car on my back, connected solar panels, built gardens (also a few hidden ones, but that's a story on it's own), brought a few hundred logs, bags of cement, a horse, pair of goats for fun and maybe some cheese, pair of sheep to share the wool... finishing my pool to put some trout from the river and carp in it. Need some chickens for eggs, bees, and I'm set.

I'm 37 and I did more in 2,5 year, than my entire previous life... and I had a very rich life.

Tons of thoughts, vids, pictures to share with you dear Reader. My ups and downs, successes and failures.

Learning from my own mistakes, I can say with confidence, that in maximum 1 year, I will be completely self-sufficient.

In 2 years I see myself thriving in a relatively comfortable setting with sauna for the winter, big pool for the summer etc.

I would like to invite you to share this adventure with me and since this blog is all about the „weird” or main-stream-forbidden stuff, a big part of my posts here will be about growing Cannabis, Psylocibin and other natural cures.

Stories I'd like to share with you, range from protecting yourself and your plants from wild pigs in costumes, that no matter how far into the wild you will go, will find you, terrorize and rob you and call it “protection”, to stories of real wild boars ;)
