Resilience has the ability to withstand blows, aggressions and not deform or take its original form, this is physically speaking. In human resilience, as a natural condition, we have the ability to recover from everyday problems, such as: family losses, work problems, among others. And it is that you should only try to replace for your own benefit.

Of all the difficulties we must take the positive part, due to all the problems or adverse circumstances, we must see the problems as something natural, and see who are affected, then see if there is a solution or not, and if they have it, discover how face it and reflect to rethink, to see if the plan that has been designed is correct or should be modified, without ceasing to persist, in the way of improving the problem.

To achieve this the development of resilience must meet four fundamental premises:

  • It must be accepted that this is a problem.
  • Think clearly how, it will be solved.
  • The internal planning, of the solution of the problem.
  • Persist, is the most important to achieve it.
When fulfilling with foundation, these guidelines of life, certainly with effort and dedication will be fulfilled and the benefits of the adverse situations present in the resilience will be obtained, in order to become resilient.

Development of positive resilience habits since childhood

Resilience strengthens the ability to resist in a world that encompasses both negative and positive things; of the faced events, it is entailed to have certain habits or characteristics to adapt, be flexible and accept situations.

Resilient people go a step further, using situations, in order to grow and develop.

The development of positive habits occurs through:

  • Working on the issue of confusion, so that they face the changes.
  • The constructive and immediate criticism, to attack the root problem.
  • You have to deal with your own denial of the changes, due to the impact this may have on your personal criteria, but that from now on you should be channeled for an improvement.

Activities for the development of resilience

This allows the possibility not only to express everything that is feared, but also to internalize and see the ability to face one's own experiences, recovering from the circumstances of life.

The educator has the right to use the activities as a management strategy in the development of resilience, as a decisive factor and a change in the lives of children. The goal is to develop, overcome and face fear effectively, so that the child can say: I can, I am capable.

Sponge activity, working on resilience.

This practice with the sponge is based on facing obstacles, no matter how dark the path may seem.

The sponge is the representation of the person, where no matter how much he wriggles, squeezes, twists and wrinkles, as a human being there is nothing that can overcome him, that he must be strong and stand upright.

The educator must explain to the children, as is the human being in comparison with the sponge, in a figurative sense.

Learning from this activity is to stay optimistic and prepare for what the world sends without warning and that you simply have to face, tear down and stay strong to overcome.

This activity can easily be put into practice with the students, so that as they receive the theoretical information, they execute it by practicing, interpreting and learning what they want to achieve.

Competency activity for the development of resilience. With this activity, not only children exercise and are in agility and dexterity. It involves much more than that, they develop essential skills to handle situations that arise, acting and dealing with them efficiently.

Activity of belonging and trust. Helping children to believe in themselves, having confidence, they strengthen their own abilities, developing cognitive skills that will be of benefit in the process of resilience acquiring potential and autonomy of inner self, to be a resilient person, it is part of The transformation.

Activities such as music and learning of the mastery of instruments give positive footing for it, overcoming fear and learning something new that favors their abilities.

Activity of connections between friends. When you have close ties with friends, that tends to build character, therefore, the educator must place the children to work in groups, since it is favorable in all aspects of coexistence, assimilation, learning what is right or wrong.

Development to be resilient includes contribution, teaching children to be aware of the importance of a personal contribution in the environment that surrounds them.

Balloon activity for the development of positivist resilience around control. The educator gives the student a balloon, as an exercise, to develop the capacity of resilience in the child.

When the child blows to inflate the balloon, it must do it slowly and without haste, this means that everything has its time in life, they are parameters that must be fulfilled so that the balloon does not explode when used incorrectly.

It is explained that the fragility when inflated immediately does not require that it should be broken, it can remain full of air and be strong in the conditions to which it is exposed. The same happens with the child, in its development, it must resist and persist, it is the example that is shown to the child to channel the situation.

It is expected, then, that it has the capacity to control the results of the decisions made.

Childhood is a stage of reference in the life of any human being, that is why education and accompaniment are crucial to teach basic tools.
