How to teach children to become aware? - Learning based on the Macbeth effect
The macbeth effect has its origin in the people who had the moral stained, or who had committed something that made them have a bad conscience, was related to an act of purification.

Those who have tainted morals generally have the cleansing ritual, which is based on washing hands, called the Macbeth effect and its name comes from the work of William Shakespeare, where Lady Macbeth asks her husband to kill King Duncan of Scotland and, although she washed her hands, they were always dirty. It is where the relationship between purification and consciousness is seen.
What leads people to have a bad conscience?
People often have a bad conscience when they act against the following:
- The scale of values.
- Code of conduct that is established.
- When you think that the limits are crossed morally.
- The bad conscience is accentuated more, when there is an act of will, that is to say when something is done wanting it.
How do we teach to face this bad conscience?
It is about cleaning up a little the psychological conscience and also how to prevent it.
The ideal is that people do not have bad conscience, but we can work on it, for example:
- Apologize. It must educate and inculcate in children, that asking for forgiveness has to be something true.
- Be compassionate with yourself.
- It always repairs the damage caused to others.
- Take an apprenticeship of the act committed.
- The reflective system must be trained, always anticipating and acting with good behavior.
- Always keep in mind the scale of values.
Can one be born or not with a bad conscience?
People are not born with bad conscience, that is, that bad conscience can corrode the being as such, so they must think and act positively.

There is a point where children begin to feel guilty and wrong with themselves, and this is given since they learn to differentiate good and evil, when they know when they are wrong.
Learning activities for children
Make a list of bad acts. It is about children making a list of situations in which they can fall and become less responsible, and in this way try to learn to anticipate an event.
The reflective system is being trained to anticipate situations of bad conscience, for example:
- Omit rules or regulations.
- Do not play sports, when they should be done.
- Do not perform school tasks.
Activity based on writing and speaking things that have bad consequences.
The children will be divided into two groups, one will have to write things that are lies and the other group will be recorded expressing lies about things they have not done.
After the act of lies intentionally provoked to learn, the teacher must place a mouthwash and a bath soap on the desk.
What is the result of this activity?
That the children voluntarily choose which of these two products they identify with, according to the series of lies exposed, in written or verbal form.
The result would be that the children, according to the stated lies, select to wash their hands in the case of those who wrote lies and those who spoke them rinse their mouths, this is to clean up the bad things they have done.
The learning of bad conscience, is based on the interpretation of the acts, for it the selection of objects to clean the occurrence of the facts exposed.
All people have been wrong at some point, but the important thing is to learn from it and be more compassionate.
