I know it sounds awesome that the remains of dinosaurs are pumped out the earth to be industrialized and manufactured again into little versions of dinosaurs that we know and love, but sadly that's not the case (life's rough, I know)

It all goes down to Marine Snow, and believe me that is not as magical as it sounds, not at all, Marine Snow is a kind of eternal downpour of organic matter, basically, dead plankton, fish scales, whale skin and (of course) fish and whale poop. All of this succulent snow falls down and land on the ocean floor where it accumulates forming a kind of organic goo (I find this moment the most adequate to remind all of you guys that you're surrounded by plastics, disgusting), this goo gets buried by sediment and with time, high temperatures and pressure this mix of everything rotten and wonderful in the ocean becomes oil.

Oh, c'mon guys don't give me that look, I know I just burst your bubble but this is not that bad, I just tried to educate you ok? It's harsh to tell everyone that you play with toys made of ancient whale poop but that's no reason to be sad, now wait until I address the whole "Pluto is a planet" thing, I'll give you permission to cry then. CHEERS!
