It's Cloudy Here - Day 284 - 365 Days of Writing : Challenge

in #education6 years ago

Have you ever seen a cloud? I'm sure everyone has seen a cloud at some point in their lives, except you were born blind. Clouds are mostly high up in the sky, but sometimes, they are low and can almost touch the earth.

Clouds are formed when water vapor condenses in the sky. When the weather is too warm, water turns into gas and evaporates into the sky. When the weather gets cold, this form tiny drops of water. The water will condense around things like dust, ice or sea salt and form a cloud.

High clouds are high up in the clouds. Several kilometres away from the earth. Low clouds are low in the clouds. They are very close to the earth. Medium clouds are between high and low clouds. They are not too far away, and not too close to the earth.

Clouds are made of tiny droplets of water, but when they become larger and heavier, they fall as rain. They sometimes fall as hail or snowflakes when the sky is too cold. Clouds give us shade during the daytime. Hope you learnt something new today.
