Duty bound
Today, I was going through some cake videos as usual when I came upon a video by an Indian student who had done her masters in the US of A.
There was nothing special about the video, just another who was all praise about the education system in the country.
The video had me thinking about the state of mind of the students who visit the country and avail of costly education at the expense of the native country and never give back anything or leave alone do anything for the betterment of the people back home.
There are a lot of inspiring movies which encourage young people to feel patriotic but in real life, the students are far more self oriented rather than altruistic.
The elections are to be held this month and I feel that the leaders should stress that the people also do their bit for the country. Then only, India will finally start to progress.
