You are new to Steem and have no clue what everyone is talking about leaving you feeling confused and frustrated. Allow us to help you learn about some of the jargon used here so you can begin to understand the language of the Steemiverse.

QUESTION:
Assuming I want to put the source of where I get a picture from...
will I put the picture's link together with my post or what...?

If you click the blue words that say:
"Aleksandra Mazur on Unsplash,"
readers will be taken to the page on Unsplash
where Aleksandra Mazur shared her lovely photo!
That is the best way to source photos, to give the name of the person who took it, where you got it, and link back to their page!
Even if you do not link back to their page, ALWAYS give the person's name who took the photo and where you found it!
Always source your own photos, and say:
"Photo by me" if you took it, yourself!!
