What is Home Schooling

For those who aren't really familiar with what is home schooling all about, Homeschooling is a progressive movement around the country and the world which is rapidly growing , in which parents choose to educate their children at home instead of sending them a specific or a traditional public or private school as away of education. It simply known as well as home education.

According to what i have read on my curiosity on when does home schooling started, i have found several sources that stated that even before in history and different culture, the education of children at home by family members was a common practice and was no longer a big deal. In addition to that Home education is the main practiced in some of the isolated communities. But the popularity itself really began a resurgence in the 1960s and 1970s with educational reformists dissatisfied with industrialized education.

Credits of this home schooling goes to the people who really push through for change in the education system. To name some popular authors and researchers, we have John Holt and Dorothy and Raymond Moore, started writing about educational reform. They suggested homeschooling as an alternative educational option. Throughout the years parents have greatly supported home schooling as a matter of fact. From the statistic i gather up from National Home Education Research Institute, there are now more than two million children being home-schooled in the U.S.as of 2016 and the numbers are still growing.
