🎨💡Naked Bodies of the week – The importance and practicing life drawing.

in #elegance6 years ago

One of the most important practices for all artists but still left aside, more by young people with a desire to just work in digital areas, comics or animations.

Unfortunately many people want to skip this area without realizing the importance it has for all those who wish to paint humans or similar beings in some way or another.

Life Drawing?

The life drawing is the practice in which it is painted (or we seek to paint 😂) a naked model with the idea to learn and practice even more the structure of the body ... (if you came to imagine the situation as an uncomfortable one; don't worry, it is common at the beginning)

Drawing in realism tends to be considered fundamental only for artists who want to stand out in this area; but in reality knowing about the human structure, the forms, the values, or simplified, being able to know how they look in real life is a necessity for all; from sculptors to animators in the most minimalistic styles.

Understanding how the world works in real life is a duty, since our feeling of familiarity from what we see can derive from here. Although many of the styles come to break or exaggerate the world, they still have a mutual start.

Many new painters want to skip this part, without realizing that the quality of their work in any other artistic branch will depend on their knowledge of this.

Everything have a base in reality.

The anime is its "visually correct" version.
The comic its "simplified" form.
The cartoon the "exaggerated" version.
And the semi-realism the "stylized" way.

Life drawing on classes

These are practices that we have done during these 2 weeks (if I do not have a process, it's because there is no pause in a drawing of 2 hours 😉). The practice of real models and photos is considered very important in my university.

These are my best ones ... Don't think I will show you my disasters 😂.

Our favorite model and whom we have to make more paints than the number of Steemit's forgotten posts.

I'm still trying to improve my portraits...

From time to time it is about making a self portrait ... Not always the favorite work...

This one was in fact homework; finally from a photo and more than 6 hours to make it.

A place to show your skills

Sort:

Your practices are very nice, kothy.

I think you captured each subject nicely.... and is that really your self portrait? ^_^

Thank you so much friend ^^
