The Future of Energy

I bet everyone who clicks on this article is thinking, Tesla Tower will finally be built.

And, to those people, i am sorry, this post will disappoint.
It may even make you mad.
But i am going to discuss things that can be done right now, and what power will look like going into the near future.

Tesla's super-generative tower will not be built. It is not the free energy device we have been searching for. Sorry to all the readers.

However, there are many other continuous and green energy sources.

The reason that no one has built anything close to Tesla's tower is that they all have been taught wrong science.

Can you come up with the correct answer if you are using the wrong formula?
Well, if you want to see Maxwell's real equations, you have to get one of his books published before his death. After that, the equation was changed.

You also need to discard everything Einstein wrote, and most of what Newton did.
Gravity is not a function of mass. The speed of light is not the maximum speed.

And, you have to discard the globe earth theory.
Yes, the shape of the earth has a direct impact on sending electrical signals through the earth.

Still, what a person would find when they actually built a Tesla Tower is that it would destroy all of our electronics. Currently we have all of our electrical devices "grounded". Tesla's Tower oscillated the "ground" and thus, it is incompatible with what we have built up.

Further, we do not need it. We do not want a single source electric grid.
Central control is bad, as evil people like to get in charge of such central things.

Another piece of the puzzle is much more mundane, but almost no one knows about it.

America can't build any more power plants. Basically, all the coal mines are operating at a certain level. All the oil pipe lines are operating at a certain level. So, because there isn't much excess in the system, there isn't any way to power a new power plant.

You can't buy what doesn't exist.
And if you try, all that happens is the price spikes up... and you get massive wait times.

Why do you think all those "conserve electricity" advertisements have been on every television and magazine? It is, first, to make everyone believe electricity is scarce, and so they will keep paying higher prices, but secondarily it is to keep from having to build more power plants.

Because, right now, to build a new plant, means building the plant, building a railroad, and building a coal mine.

We like to talk about decentralization a lot on steemit.

And no place do we need decentralization more than in electric power production.

We should have a power generation station in every small community. Thus, if the power goes out, from an accident during a storm, you can go over to your neighboring small community where they still have power.

This will become even more important as the mini-ice-age gets into swing.

A lot of people are going to die next winter because of month long snow storms taking out power lines.

Fortunately we have several power sources that are both green and continuous.

Its just that funding has been created for such projects... until they start to get somewhere, and then their funding disappears. And the govern-cement has been playing this game for decades.

So, here are some power plant considerations.

1. Solar -> hot water -> steam turbines -> liquid gravity storage.

All the pieces have been done. However, any funding for any large scale system have just... vanished.

2. Geothermal

Drilling a hole to 5 miles depth to get 212° temperatures is painful and dangerous. However, drilling to 3 miles and using Trichlorotrifluoroethane a 150° refrigerant as your expansion medium gets you a "steam" turbine without actually having to get steam.

3. Magnetic motors

There are actually motors that continue to spin by themselves. But, we are told perpetual motion machines can't exist. (remember when i told you we need to throw out science?, well, the 2nd law of thermodynamics doesn't apply to an open system, such as the universe.) So, in the near future, we will see what are close to perpetual motion machines. Or, more specifically, they take a little energy to keep going, but provide a higher energy output.

These are few examples of what to expect in the near future.
And they will all be smallish. As in power for a dozen houses to a small community.

The reason they won't be smaller is because of complexity. They are not your automobile which you can forget to change the oil which causes you to have to take the bus for a while... It is that someone, with a bit of knowledge, will have to regularly maintain each one.

There are much more exciting things in a couple of generations, but we won't see those until we would never think about using them for war. (its just the way inventions work)
