Ron Añejo Carupano the best of the best!

The rums are mentioned in historical accounts in the year 1650 they say that they called it rumbillon which means "great noise or commotion" which is the great effect that apparently causes its consumption; others say that the origin of their name comes from the word "saccharum" which means sugar. It was Christopher Columbus who brought the first sugar cane to America and, after more than three centuries, the rum has acquired its own personality with a history imbued with European corsairs and pirates.

Carupano is world renowned for the quality of its old rums; quality inherited from ancient traditions and methods applied by Spanish immigrants, who settled in that beautiful city that became the first export port of the country, for its extraordinary plantations of cocoa, coffee and sugar cane, and with its old sugar mills they make it a pioneer in Venezuela in the elaboration of that drink since the mid-eighteenth century.

The Carúpano Distillery, stands out in the elaboration of the drink, thanks to the privileged location that the Hacienda Altamira has in Carupano, Sucre state.

Ron Carúpano is named among the best in the category. It is already common to see the product among the best rums in the lists of the World Contest of Brussels, the International Congress of Madrid, among others.
