The Encyclopedia of the Villain: The Penguin

Hello Steemit people, I hope you are very well and if you are not you will be now, because I come again with The Villain Encyclopedia and this time from a well-known one, The Penguin, you know, the enemy of Batman, chubby, ugly, with an umbrella... Well, if you do not know him I'll I will introduce you, without more than saying, let's start.

Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot was a child from a wealthy family who was harassed by his appearance, by his beak nose, his fingers somewhat glued as if they were fins and he was very hunchbacked, his mother was very overprotective and made him carry an umbrella all the time because her husband died of pneumonia from being soaked after a rainy day, Cobblepot had a great love for birds since his mother had enough, was his love and passion and his only friends.

For his love of birds and his appearance the kids called him "Penguin" nickname that he hated with all his being, after a few years his mother would die and he would have to take care of all the expenses at an early age, something that ended badly and seized many of his things, among them, the birds of his mother, this enraged Cobblepot and began his march in the criminal world to get money.

Cobblepot When meeting with a gang of thieves and offering them robbery plans, the leader mocked him for his appearance and his umbrella, threw him out from the site calling him "Penguin", he went to his house and thought he would make the name "The Penguin" as a name to fear, improve his technologically umbrella making the first umbrella caliber .45, went to the gang and murdered his boss, proclaiming himself as the new leader of the group and starting his criminal career.

His intelligence and cunning are his superpower, he is not only smart in business but also to plan robberies and any criminal act although he does not normally do them and are his henchmen what they do his dirty work, he knows what to do, where to do it and when to do it, but that his appearance does not deceive you, he has knowledge in the melee confrontation and can even collapse enemies bigger than him, although this does not work with Batman.

He has an umbrella modified by himself, his umbrella usually contains lethal weapons, such as machine guns, blades, missiles, lasers, flamethrowers, and devices of acid or poison gas, also uses it to hypnotize your enemies and you can spin it to make it fly and make a forced escape.

The Penguin is a very old enemy of Batman, it is even emblematic in its history, when reading more about this character I could see that it has had enough participle in many stories, going from be a criminal to be a fair trader, from being an ally to being a traitor, from being a person to being a Penguin, as many Batman villains are obscure in both his history or his way of being, this character is only in his way of being, in his essence, in his way of doing things, using everyone and intimidating them to achieve their tasks, before he thought that the Joker was the criminal boss in Gotham, but now I see that I was wrong, it is this harmless bird that can not fly.
