Fake Erectile Steem Dysfunction

Sorry for the clickbait title again, but there's something about Steem that might interest you. Drove past a graffiti advertisement earlier. It was trying to sell pills to men with that sensitive problem. Not sure what's worse, seeing a certified doctor or a certified dude for the cure? Hmm. Maybe if that person has more than 10,000 followers on Steemit.

In any case, ED is actually not funny and can be a serious health issue - one that can be taken advantage off because self-esteem and insecurity are involved in the mix. Depending on the nature treatment and your perspective, anyone that manages to make good money out of this can be viewed of as either predatory or just as deserving as any business transactions. All said, real erectile dysfunction (ED) is not quite as non-trivial as the mental-equivalent.

Either by intent or accident, mental EDs can be very costly. Sounds very familiar? There are plenty of examples everywhere throughout history:-

1. "Stim"

This is an urban expression in certain parts of the world, particularly in the equatorial region of South East Asia like Malaysia and Singapore. I've heard it since the 90s, but it could've been something old and ancient. Anyway, it means erection / boost in self-esteem / satisfaction / stimulated / joy / happiness / euphoria / steamy / steam-powered etc - you get it. Two examples:

"So much stim.. when I power up my Steem."

"So much stim.. when she gave me some Steem during Valentine's."

2. De Beers & Diamonds

The social dynamics between heterosexual beings make for such a particularly profitable cash cow. Here's a documentary on the influence of modern societies worth checking out: The Century of The Self.

3. Displays of power.

This was especially clear during ancient times when rulers desire everything big, grand, and shiny. It's a bit more subtle these days, but make no mistake that it's still around. Commonly seen in royalties and wannabes. It's good money. Very ingenious, because royalty is then both the doctor and the patient. But to be fair, perhaps it's more for the purpose of signalling power to other tribes or just plain keeping up with appearances instead of healing a trivial, mental ED. They could all very well be the same thing for all I know.

4. Aggrandisement in crypto-societies.

It's all fine that everybody wants to defend their own bigger and better cryptocurrencies, but I'm just saying that it's all mostly a dick-measuring contest due to potential trivialities present in mental EDs. Market forces will try to win over your insecurities with pills that claim to make you bigger and better. So buy now and give us your money. Lots of money. Oh wait, this is the same even for the non-crypto world, although probably less intensified.

5. War

Look no further than George Carlin's stand-up comedy on the topic of "The Bigger Dick Foreign Policy": https://medium.com/@alexsimpson_11118/the-bigger-dick-foreign-policy-57b7682071a8

“War is a whole lot of men standing in a field waving their pricks at one another. Men are insecure about the size of their dicks and so they have to kill one another over the idea."

Conclusion

Even though erectile dysfunction is largely a physical problem rather than a mental one, remember that the mind can also have an effect on the body. When Steem was created, its founders meant for it to be representative of esteem, self-esteem. The blockchain certainly has a lot of Steem in it, but what about the mind? Don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. It's late. Something about marketing Steem like diamonds, but better: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@kevinwong/are-cryptocurrencies-great-gifts

Huh, I never would have known that ... self -esteem or steem. I always thought steem in the beginning was different but really thought of steam. Funny and enlightening. Yeah ED is no fun, I had issues a few years back. Not embarrassed at all to admit it. Was out of a long relationship back in the dating scene and really out of shape. Had some issues for a while in this department. Was it mental or physical? Don't know. I did change my diet to fruits and veggies. Then I took down the invisible poor me sign on my for head that all females can see and shun. Now a cat couldn't scratch it and I'm married to my best friend. Ah ain't life grand? It is gettin' late.... too much? Ha! Never brother...... never.

Yeah it's esteem (one of the older interviews with ned/dan).

Life my friend, we go through the cycles :)

No doubt and the learning curve is steep at times. Feet forward, chin up and above all else learn from the mistakes we make. Enjoyed the post.

the idea of a very interesting idea in this paper for the reading may be a guide for me ... let me follow you

Ok, this is like reading a cryptic-spiritual document about a world political conspiracy relating crypto, war, beer and erectile dysfunction written by the history channel.

I LOVE IT.

一直关注着你,但直到今天从来没有读过你的帖子

Steem helps with self-esteem, never thought of it like that. Makes minnows sound a bit depressed though...

It's not the SP that's important, it's the way one chooses to express the SP.. *insert picture of gandalf*

Oh my goodness! What an excellent way of passing across a message very important.

I was almost lost, until I read the conclusion and read it over again.

Been following you, but never read your post until today. I'm speechless. I wish I could posses such writing prowess.

The clickbait got me though.

Oh no, now I have to keep using clickbaits :) There's plenty of stuff on Steem for sure! Just a mash of late night thoughts after seeing what I thought was a funny advertisement underneath a bridge..

Thanks for the kind words @ogoowinner!

Could be worse. You could be the spokesperson for ED. Kelsey Grammar was the spokesperson for Irritable Bowel Syndrome...

Haha i actually was thinking of kelsey grammar when I was typing this up!

Steemit community is like the mini version of the world in terms of power distribution where the mighty can eat the poor whole and make them invisible.

But in the other hand if we do strive in here in due time we can get bigger and dance with the whales with a better self eSTEEM.

It's about the perception. The disfunction with Steem is the power distribution. Ironically, this is also the problem with the rest of the world.

Some wouldn't call it "problem" really. It is what it is. This is also how species propagate on the expense of the majority of their own kind.

I have also seen hair loss supplements which are just cheep vitamins being sold at huge marked up prices.

Lots of conjobs!

I LOOOVE STEEM!
If you can dream it, you can Steemit.
Steem like there's no tomorrow
Steemit is like a little German shepherd puppy. It takes time to grow and it can be rough when it's young, but it will grow to protect you.
