Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the steemit block chain. It is 1800 GMT+1 here in Nigeria, West Africa and it is time for your award winning relationship show every Saturday titled, "Saturday Night with Zizy". Today makes it episode 25 since the onset of this show and just like every other episodes, it promises to be outstanding.

Before I jump into the crux of the matter, I'll love to as my manner is, appreciate those who always found time to come around and show me enormous love on this show every Saturday. Are you the single friend with all your friends either in a serious relationship, engaged, planning marriage or even married. Just few years ago, you were the pretty girl, the life of every party and marriage was never on your list of things to do before 25 but then suddenly one day you realized all your friends are taken and you are the single one. You wonder if the marriage switch was flipped and you weren't aware of it because there was no day you felt like getting married was the next on your table.

Do not think that because none of your friend has ever gotten married then perhaps this post is not for you. Truth is when one of them finally does, it is going to put you on a roller coaster of emotions. As much as we hate to admit openly how much we desire marriage, the yearning increases with each friend that gets married, each anniversary celebrated, each engagement celebrated and each birthday. When we see our friends getting married, we feel a mix of jealousy and happiness and the feeling is worse if we suddenly got broken up, we may even shed a tear or two.

This season usually is engagement season. When you log on to Facebook and see your friends hand on a guy's chest with a new sparkle, it serves as a reminder that you are plodding through the holiday season solo. Soon it will be the end of the year and guys will take to the social media to troll girls who ought to have gotten married this year but for one reason or the other didn't. Wallowing too much on these can really put you down. Self pity will not make the situation any better you know? It is quite normal to feel left behind if all your friends are getting married off. To those that see marriage as an accomplishment, not having it happen suffers their self esteem and they begin to doubt their self worth. This could hold you back from experiences that could make you feel better or even prevent you from meeting someone.

HOW TO COPE WITH BEING SINGLE WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS MARRIED.

1. Don't feel pressurized: it is normal to want to get married because all your friends are getting married and you are tired of being a bridesmaid the 25th time. This can make you make a decision you would regret for the rest of your life. Not all single people are unhappy and depressed with a boring life; likewise not all happy couples are truly happy.

2. Marriage is not a game: it is not a race where the first to get to the finish line gets a medal. Nobody wins by getting married first. Everyone has their time. Some people are destined to get married at a very young age and some get married much later in life. Truth is when your time comes, it will surely happen. Do not measure your life against anyone.

3. Enjoy your life. Singlehood is an opportunity to have fun and explore new things. Marriage comes with its own restrictions. Think of all the amazing guys you can meet. You own yourself. You do not have to be accountable to anyone or act in a certain way to please someone. Remember you won't be single forever so now is the time to make the most out of it.

4. Stay focused: Don't go on a pity party and lose interest in life. Nothing is wrong with you. Your time hasn't just come yet. It could just be that marriage is their priority or perhaps they have the time to be at every party, night club and hangout but you are very busy with education and career progression. They are married doesn't make them better than you. Focus on making yourself better in all aspect and soon a man deserving of you will come.

5. Take a break. If you can't scroll through your Facebook or Instagram page without feeling sad because of an engagement picture of your friend then now is the time to take a break from social media. You must not attend all weddings. If you are not up to it, give yourself a break.

6. Make a plan: if your desire is to get married then make a plan on how to achieve that. Is your behaviour the reason why you can't have a long term relationship? Is your action mirroring you as one who is desperate? Men find desperate ladies a turn off. Kill those vibes now, take a chill pill and be comfortable and love yourself.

It is better to be single than to marry the wrong person or marry for a wrong reason. Marriage is not a way of escape from financial burden or a means of relocation. It doesn't make you an adult. Marriage is forever, a long time commitment. It is work. Be kind and loving as a lady, be affectionate. Don't go for looks. Married or not, everyone has their own issues that keeps them awake at night.

At the end of the day, all you need is a change of perspective. There is no deadline to finding someone amazing.

Have fun with hypothetical. Conversation can become routine. Break from the ordinary and have a silly dinner conversation made entirely of imaginary situations-for example, ask, "if you were on an island and could bring five movies, which movies would you bring?"

My girlfriend cheated on me with the class rep. I didn't catch her red handed. I had the intuition she was cheating and so I asked her and threatened to expose her if she doesn't tell me the truth and that was how she finally confessed she slept with her class rep. This is a guy I know very well because I graduated from the same school. Now I'm filled with disgust. I want to hit her hard where it will hurt her more. I plan to act like I have forgiven her but I'll get my pound of flesh when she least expects then break up with her. I love her so much. Please do you think this is wise? How do I react?

Dear Zizy, please I am in a relationship with this lady in fact I'm confused. Some days she's all romantic and loving and some days she is so cold towards me. She won't chat with me or reply my chats even when she is online. I try to ask her what the problem is and she replied that she knows all I want from her is sex and so she is being careful. This is a girl I've never seen the strap of her bra since 5 months we have been together. Whenever she visits, I leave my business so I can cook for her and spend quality time with her. I never fail to support her financially. I really don't understand what her problem is. Can you help me figure this out?
