EOS Dublin Developer Support and Public API
At EOS Dublin, one of our core values is education. This means we’re always in pursuit of learning and sharing our knowledge. We seek out collaboration in order to contribute to the global community. Today we’d like to share some of the technical achievements that our CTO Sam Noble has brought about on his own and in collaboration with other Block Producers.
We’ve just published a public API and invite developers to use our API and Peer-to-Peer endpoints to interact with the EOS Blockchain. You can find it here:

Here’s some of the projects Sam has been working on, along with his notes on their development.

Cerberus was borne out of the initial example that Block.one created for Patroneos, a set of applications that were bundled together to add security to block producer’s public facing infrastructure. The initial documentation and configuration of Patroneos was confusing, so I made it simpler for myself and switched from Docker to LXD.
Cerberus was well received and went on to inspire a number of variations such as HKEOS’ Prometheus (which also leverages work from Michael Yeates of EOSDAC).
( https://github.com/HKEOS/Ghostbusters-Testnet/blob/master/prometheus.md ) which included a lot of extra work on improving the security of the HAProxy configuration and adding some iptables rules.
Being lazy like I am, I then took their approach to Prometheus and scripted it to make the install seamless and fully automated, which gave rise to Nyx https://github.com/eosdublin/scripts/tree/master/nyx
The EOS Dublin GitHub is rich with scripts to help BPs and developers work within the EOS system with the scripts
repository being our Swiss-army knife of tools! https://github.com/eosdublin/scripts
