I'm proud to proclaim that whaleshares testing is progressing relatively smoothly (despite a few small hiccups along the way) and has opened up a world of possibility for me as even a mini whale to accomplish things I otherwise could only dream about prior. Because of this success, I am finally able to begin the beta for Beyond Bitcoin Whaletank. This means that we are in a place that enables me to update the old Beyond Bitcoin hangouts into something better, which in turn opens up the announcement of our flagship hangout...only upgraded.
So with this said, many of the same Rules Apply for Whaletank as those for Beyond Bitcoin Hangouts, except now we are adding some more Rules... and a little Competition to add some Spice! Not to mention a few Power-Ups for those of you who feel like working a little harder to get a bit of an edge over other projects in your coverage!
How to get Coverage of your Project: Leverage Your Community (Use your own token to Double your chances!)
Post to this and future Hangout Announcements telling us if you are going to be there and what project/topic you would like to cover with the Beyond Bitcoin Community. The highest voted project/topics at the start of the hangout every Saturdays @ 3pm UTC will be covered first, followed 2nd highest, 3rd highest...etc in sequence from highest to lowest.
How much time will we have in the WhaleTank?
Hangouts will be at least 45 minutes long, but depending on attendance and projects/topics to be covered may last up to 4 hours. Given this, we will try to be as flexible with guest speakers as possible, but will be forced to limit the number covered to 12 in any hangout (accounting for potential Time Buy-ins). This should enable us to at least let people speak/take questions for 15 minutes each. All projects/topics that are not covered during Whaletank will be able to speak up after the 1st hour of the afterparty.
Is coverage all I get?
No. You also get a whole laundry list of cool things:
- Your RSVP reply is upvoted and paid by the community and @fuzzyvest based on their interest in your project and the voting power of their accounts.
- Every Approved Guest Speaker will Share from a pool of WhaleShare and/or Beyondbit Tokens equivalent to the amount earned by each week's RSVP post for speaking! The post earned $1000? Speakers will share 1000 Beyondbit tokens!
- Every Week, fuzzy will give at least 500 Beyondbit tokens to his favorite project with a token! At the end of every hangout, fuzzy will decide during the afterparty which token will earn these upvotes...during which time you might be able to try the Power-Up below!
- Every Week it is possible to catch the attention of other whales who plan to join with whaleshares based tokens of their own! And in the future it is nearly guaranteed...
Is any topic off Limits?
Yes. We reserve the right to learn from the newest trickster trolling steemit consistently searching for way to insert chaos into the equation and devise future strategies for negating these. Naturally if these efforts become ham-fisted attempts at shutting down free speech in honest conversations, the audience will hold us accountable.
But with that said....pretty much anything can be covered--even up to and including current events. However, I personally will only be biased to projects with tokens and those that at least touch the blockchain in some way shape or form. Furthermore, I will be asking the community to downvote absolute Rubbish! ;)

As I've announced on the last week's Bitshares hangout RuDEX team now launched two gateways, and now has a 0% market fee gateway for all major Graphene based chains (STEEM, Peerplays, Muse, Golos), and eventually we're going to have all of them. :-)

Furthermore, our team has a Steem witness @blockchained since March, and now that we've done all this we're planning to start working on getting closer to the top (perhaps if not top 19, but at least top 20-30), since leveraging of blockchain instruments is what allows us to operate those 0% fee gateways.
To that end we're reposting all of our English language posts to our @rudex account.
We are also hoping, that those 0% fees are going to attract marketmakers from Steem and other communities, and bring liquidity to the Bitshares markets.
Other than reporting those things, I am going to talk about or future plans, since what we have now is just a good start.
While my talk on Bitshares hangout is going to be relatively brief, I'd also like to rsvp for Beyond Bitcoin Whale tank, to talk a little bit about how what we're doing is going to affect Graphene based communities as a whole.
@officialfuzzy I tried to reach you in chat but failed. You had a guy on a show (linked below) the other day claiming to be part of my Poker site Lucksacks.com.
That person is IN NO WAY affiliated with Lucksacks.com and we are not doing any of the things he claimed we were doing.
@chiefmappster has no affiliation with "Lucksacks", "Lucksacks.com" or the "Steem Poker League". He is lying about what our future plans are and misrepresenting himself as being a part of our project.
All our mods had blocked him (he's now banned) for several incidents in our league that went from claims of racism to outright craziness in dm's to people, including myself.
@officialfuzzy please do some due diligence prior to interviewing people. Letting people come on air and claim they're running projects they have nothing to do with is not good man, especially when they're trying to raise money for themselves using other peoples project names and pretending they're somehow working with that project.

I don't think it's fair to blame fuzzy for interviewing someone, but I do think it'd be appropriate to remove @chiefmappster's audio segments from soundcloud if this is legit.
What ever happened to the exonn deal that chiefmappster was ranting about a few weeks ago? Lol..
I need not vet because i have an entire community that can vet things. The entire Whaletank process has vetted him publicly and given him a chance to prove himself (or not). And the story is all archived in raw format and polished up to remove interruptions from him. It is a beautiful thing and I get a little crazy sometimes thinking its my job to do things that I never wanted this to be. I am sorry that you feel the way you do but they are Open for a reason. I have spoken with chief and said he can join but not speak until he proves people wrong.

I have always said this is what i wanted to do and how i wanted to do it tuck. Way before Steem I did it this way.
Guess what, many scammers have come onto beyondbitcoin hangouts. But also many amazing people have. In the end...it has proven and archived many beautiful and bullshit things. I'm proud of the shit as much as I am the good because it is real.
However, as I always say, if someone wants to edit the hangouts (and take those people out) and let people know they did and why...I am completely cool with it as long as it isn't taking things and twisting recordings to say things certain people didn't. It is content...potential proof of what you guys are talking about. So use it if you think it is a good idea.
I hope you guys will seriously consider what i am saying here. You can download the content, support the community and make money if you think it deserves it. So do that. I am just trying to provide largely a blank slate for people to draw on. Over time the greats as well as the assholes are proven.
This is so wild to me. I don't know if I said the wrong words but I am not affiliated with Lucksacks.com at all and never claim to be. I was referencing how you shut down the site and left the community hanging. So it was my intention to build a site using the script that @internetguy built for lucksacks and use it for a site that the community could use to play.
And with the @spl I think most of the community members know what I have done for the @spl from testing the first games on Bluff Avenue with you to writing numerous Poker Today's and sponsoring several 30SBD tournies. But I am not a founder and I have said that every post I talk about the @spl is that you and @bigpchef started it.
I don't know why you are projecting all that emotion onto me. I can handle it is part of life but I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
