How to buy EOS and Bitshares the EASIEST Way - DIY GUIDE
I am going to use SBDs, but you can go directly to the @blocktrades step and use any major currency.
Go to your Steemit wallet and click the down arrow on either Steem Dollars (or Steem)
Click on Sell and Blocktrades will open up and enter the amount of SBDs to sell in the Send field and then select Bitshares in the Receive field
If you don't have a Bitshares account go to www.bitshares.org and click on Try Online Exchange to create an account
Enter your Bitshares account name in the Your Receive Address field and click on Get Deposit Address
Enter your Steem user name and click Transfer Using SteemConnect
Click Continue
Enter your Steem user name and password and click Sign In
Log into your Bitshares.org account and you will see the newly send BTS after a short period of time usually less than half a minute
Click on the blue B at the top left to see the Markets and type in EOS
Click on the BTS:OpenEOS market
Note that Open EOS is a cool way to hold EOS because it is held on your behalf and you don't have to do anything technical when the network changes!
Under Sell BTS select Highest Bid and enter the amount of EOS you wish to buy based on the amount of BTS you have
In my example I will buy 1 EOS
Click on Sell and a login screen will appear - Login
Click Confirm to confirm the transaction on the next screen
Click on Dashboard and WOOHOO! You now own EOS
Many notable crypto experts speculate that EOS will go to the levels of Ether and beyond by the end of 2018

I have only 2 EOS in my bitshares wallet, do they have to be registered manually or does the exchange do the switching?
