EOS Gets Trading Boost as Main-Net Launch Nears.

Hi traders, EOS is set to make a move if good news keep piling in.

EOS is showing some signs of bullishness following news that appointed block producers were given the green light from the community to boot main-net.

The market reacted accordingly with an increase of volume in trading across the board:

Main-net is meant to launch today at 13.00 UTC and I wouldn't be surprised to see EOS jump to the next value node if it goes without incidents:

As far as the order of event is concerned, we're here:

~~Verify Snapshot & Boot: Snapshot taken and verified by EMLG and third parties.~~ Boot process initiated.

Testing: Allow time for EMLG (EOS Mainnet Launch Group - a united group of candidate block producers willing to collaborate to launch he EOS main-net) and third parties to verify that the tokens have been loaded according to the snapshot file, and that the software performs well.

Enable: Release joint statement from Block Producer community that it is safe to import private keys and vote. Voting beings.

Activation - Declare the EOS Mainnet active.

As can be seen, the EOS community is not completely out of the woods yet. Once the main-net is booted and properly tested (which could take another week since an update of the EOS software is meant to be released soon), the community at large (appointed block producers [BPs] and token holders) will need to vote (15% threshold required) in order to promote delegate BPs to "real" BPs, one of which will then be tasked to create the genesis block.

Voting isn't compulsory but if you wish to do so be aware that it'll require you to use your private keys. Be particularly cautious, scammers are probably already working very hard to replicate popular voting websites and application so do your due diligence before you imput your private keys anywhere.
