Three Weeks Before Qualification Dota TI 8, EG Kick Out Misery and Fear ?!
Stunning news coming from the team's famous roster body with this BleedBlue nickname! Yes, it is true! Evil Geniuses team recently announced that it has issued Rasmus 'MiseRy' Filipsen, the captain of the core roster! It was revealed by Misery himself through a tweet posted by him.
Through the tweets Misery said directly that he had been removed from the EG roster, which he further added that he was happy and relieved to have dropped out of Team EG.
I do not know what happened with Team EG, this certainly makes us wonder. With Misery out of the EG Team, and TI8's regional qualification is three weeks away, then Misery is practically no choice.
For any team that later insert Misery into the roster will lose the opportunity to get the Regional Qualifier spot, referring to the Dota Pro Circuit regulations.
Misery in Team EG is a newly added player this season. Misery's role within the team played a role in replacing Clinton's 'Fear' Loomis as the captain's position. Prior to Misery's entry, Frack 'Cr1t' Nielsen held the position of captain, but not so successfully.
Unfortunately the performance of EG under the leadership of Misery also never improved. At ESL One Birmingham yesterday EG had a bad performance with stats 0-2, which made the Blue of the United States fail to qualify for the playoffs.
In addition Misery Fear was also left the Team EG roster. Shortly after Misery post the tweets, tweets follow Fear that says that he is no longer in the Team EG roster. Later Fear was a sub at once coach for Team Evil Geniuses.
Quoting Fear's tweet, he also said how relieved he had left Team EG after such a tiring and disappointing season. TI8 in sight, not many players who could be an option for EG. Can EG rise this season? Or have to fall down could not follow Dota 2 The International 2018?
