Command Meeting in Orion

In the Orion space station, installed in orbit of the bridge that served as the gateway to Bernard's Galaxy, Admirals Petersen and Fujioka, in council with the military high command of the fleets of Yone, Apolo and the contingent sent by Icaro, discussed the report sent by the squadron that was exploring Bernard's Galaxy.

-It is imperative that we send the fleet to Bernard, as far as we know, there is some kind of hostile force in that galaxy that may be raiding here in the Milky Way who knows how long, -said Petersen, leader of Yone's fleet.

-I don't think it's prudent to raid a fleet, now that we know what may be happening there, -replied Fujioka, leader of Apollo's fleet -. We know it's the territory of a possibly hostile race, you can consider it an act of war, and we don't yet know what we're up against. If, as we believe, they are responsible for the strange structures of the greater continent of Cassiopeia, they have been raiding the Milky Way even before the existence of humans.

-The Inus have revealed to us that for several million years they have traced strange explosions of gamma rays, of small magnitude, in our galaxy, not compatible with stellar bursts of any kind, - commented Captain Simon Benedetti, leader of the contingent sent by the Icarus fleet, from the outer arm -. As well as sudden outbursts of neutrinos, consistent with the opening of bridges, even before humans created that technology.

-There may be humans in the hands of this race, we must take some action, -continue Petersen.

-For now I consider it preferable to send other squadrons and establish outposts in Bernard's space, at least until we find out what happened to the Hyperion cargo or until we come across this race and know more about it, -said Fujioka.

-Well, I will see that three more squadrons are sent to reinforce the search, as well as more probes like ROBERT, and we will establish an autonomous control station in the orbit of the bridge in PGB-1 and another in PGB-2, - concluded Petersen.

-Admirals, I suggest that the squadrons be sent by our contingent, -Benedetti intervened -. Our ships could travel the distances in less time and the weapon and armor systems are superior.

-Do you want to impress us with your Inus updates? -Jok Petersen -. Okay, prepare your ships, they will depart in five hours.

While this meeting was going on, ROBERT, who was ahead of the squadron Bernard was exploring, was approaching a stellar system formed by a yellow G-type dwarf and twelve planets, with five of them in their zone of habitability.
