It's human nature to arrive at conclusions without first understanding the genesis of the problem why because things are not always what they seem at first sight as our eyes coupled with our mind can often misled us to act in an otherwise irrational manner.

So the onus is on us to delay taking actions whenever we are in an emotionally charged state at least until reason and logic is in play again so that we can view all angles of the situations and take appropriate actions without compromising ourselves or our values.

Many friendships,families,businesses and profitable opportunities have been lost when we we make rash illogical decisions fueled by an heightened emotional state without first stopping to think of the consequences .

That's why whenever you are in danger of losing your self control that would result in you saying or doing something you will later come to regret.Remember that hurtful words once uttered is hard to take back even when the conflicts has been resolved and all is forgiven the words though are never forgotten.

There are some ways to better master yourself in situations that is fixing to get out of control and they are :

1. Change your Environment when you feel you are about to lose your cool that is until your mind is unclouded and you can think more clearly .

2. Don't take things too personal - these singular approach will defuse problems faster than it causes.

3. Listen more,talk less.

4. Give people the benefit of the doubt until you have a better grasp of the situation.

5. Choose your words wisely
