Does The Spirit World Really Exists?
Do you believe that there is an alternate world for the dead? For Christians and Moslems, there are no such thing as a resting place for departed soul, it is either straight to "Heaven or Hell". I'm not sure about other religions or beliefs, but if there is a place for the dead to stay before judgement day, it will be very interesting.
I was watching a movie titled "The Others", starring the actress Nicole Kidman. For you guys who haven't watched the movie, I highly recommended that you do. But beware of spoilers if you haven't watched it.
Based on the movie, it is believe that the soul of the departed still stays on earth, and shares it with the living. As an example, when a person died, his or her soul will still be around and lives just like a living person. Some never knew that they are already died and live normally just like when they are still alive.
What I am trying to say is, the same space that we are staying and living now is also shared with these departed soul. In their world, they might be just like us, living day by day. For us who are still alive, we kept on living until the day we ourselves will depart our world. But the soul of the dead will kept on living waiting for armageddon or judgement day.
This is just a theory or even maybe a fairy tale for others, but the Chinese really do believe such place do exists. I'm not sure how true it is, but I am sure that we will find the answer ourselves when our time is up on this earth.
