Footy Review - UEFA Champions League Shocker!
What a shock result it is in 2 Champions League matches last night. First, Tottenham made it to the Quarterfinal by beating Bundesliga League leaders Borrusia Dortmund 1 - 0 at Signal Iduna Park at 4 - 0 aggregate. But the biggest shocker of them all is when Ajax beats the reigning champion Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu, 4 - 1.
It was a result that would have made those bookies rich overnight! The odds for Ajax to turn the table against the champion is at all time high, especially when they are trailing, losing the first leg at home 2 - 1.
There was a controversy about a yellow card that was given to Sergio Ramos during the first leg. The player himself confessed that he deliberately got booked so that it will clear his record during the quarterfinal.
"I would lie if I told you that I did not force the card.
"It is something I had in mind, it is not to underestimate Ajax or think that the tie is already over but I have decided so I can rest in the return, although I will be in the stadium to encourage the team."

It was a decision that backfires big time for the player and the club. They are now out of this prestigious tournament which is an absolute shocker in their footballing history. Even in the domestic competition they aren't doing well too, trailing League Leaders Barcelona by a massive 12 points.
A big congratulations to Ajax and Tottenham for reaching the Quarterfinal. Too bad for Dortmund, but good riddance to Real Madrid. HAHA! In your face Sergio Ramo
