Poem - Heeding Fate's Call
"Heeding Fate's Call"
so he decided to stop and listen.
He received the call of fate
so he went out even though its late.
He walks under the moon light,
marveling at the wondrous sight.
It was a beautiful night
and he feels that everything is right.
His feet took him to a place
where his heart feels at ease.
He is enjoying the rare peace
and decided to take a rest.
He smells the sweet scent
of nature like it was heaven sent.
All his troubles were blown away
by the grasses that dances and sways.
While watching the stars
he feels their light healing the scars.
The stared at the lovely moon
and his heart was easily won.
He closes his tired eyes
and let all troubles say goodbye.
He whispered his thanks to the wind
For whispering that his struggles will end.
He will sleep soundly tonight,
for he no longer have to fight.
