Dudhsagar Falls: A Sea of Milk
I hope you guys are doing great.
Today, I am gonna post about a four-tiered Waterfall located on the Mandovi River in Goa. Dudhsagar Waterfalls is around 60 Kilometers from the captial of Goa that is Panaji. This fall is among one of the India's tallest Waterfall with a height of 320 meters and width of around 30 meters.
This amazing waterfall is located in Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary, it lies on the border of Goa and Karnataka. The area is surrounded by thick forests and during monsoon season, the waterfall forms a huge force of water just looks like milk is flowing.
One can reach this Waterfall boarding Taxi from a village named Molem near Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. The Taxi from there takes through lush green forests and heavily flowing water streams.
And the other route to reach the falls is by Indian Railways, One can board the train from Castle Rock Railway Station and can drop by at Dudhsagar Stop though it is not a station and from there one has to walk about a kilometer to reach the falls. Recently the trek from stop has been officially closed but one can reach the falls from Molem side.
