FMC 40th Anniversary 车总会四十周年纪念

Yesterday, Friday night was the Federation of Motor & Credit Companaies Accosiations of Malaysia 40th anniversary dinner, held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel at the 14 floor, Manhattan Ballroom. With much anxious, on a Friday evening, after office hour, the hotel strategically located right at the entrance of well known crazy traffic golden triangle in Kuala Lumpur city center.

昨天是马来西亚车业总会第四十周年晚宴的纪念晚会。举行的地点在吉隆坡陈工时代广场酒店的十四楼。我们一行人带着喜忧交集的心情，毕竟星期五，还要下班时间，酒店的地点有正好吉隆坡市中心有名的金三角入口路，这个时间开着车子冲进去简直就是自寻死路。

So nice of them, as this time they did not required us, to "donate" nor "sponsor" operation fund for them. Hence this time we got a chance to eat, play, drink for free. The hotel ballroom are properly setup. Sound system are awesome, air conditioning is sufficiently power up the cooling effect of the entire function hall. The lighting are awesome, I don't know whether they had to rent it separately or the hotel provide them.

话说，这一次是车总最大方的一次，竟然没有向保险公司“捐款”或“筹募”活动资金。这一次我们实属是吃免费，喝免费，玩也免费了。酒店的舞厅排场非常溜，音响很好不刺耳，空调非常凉快。最厉害的是灯光效果也非常了不起，不晓得是另外租借的还是酒店提供的。

According to the invitation, the event suspposed to kick start by 6:30pm, one of my colleague even arrived there by 6pm. I actually left office by 5:30pm, the traffic condition does not allow me to reach there in time. Added with spending more time at the drop off zone infront of the shopping mall, queuing for my turn to get into the hotel parking, I had to wait further before I able to proceed, there goes another 30 minutes by just waiting at the shopping mall queue. I actually arrived there slightly after 7pm, but the table is still cold. Best of all, my boss came later than me.

根据请柬，应该是六点半开席的，我的其中一名同事六点就到了。我离开办公室时也是五点半，可是那一段时间的交通实在是不好开。我千辛万苦的到达了酒店，但是也得花三十分钟在商场前面等待前面的车辆放人/接人都等了三十分钟。当我到场时都已经过了七点，可是我的桌子才坐了小猫三几只。最搞笑是，我老板比我还迟到。

There are a goodie bag on put on the chair for all attendees, including some magezines and a door gift, nicely printed FMC mug for each of us. For paying nothing (other than the expansive RM9 flat rate hotel parking), what more could we ask for?

没一张椅子上面就有一个礼物包。包里有一些杂志和一份礼物。礼物就是一个杯子，杯子上面还印了车总的标记。可以现象，又吃又喝又有礼物，而且全免（除了九块钱的停车费）费！真的是无话可说了。

And finally, slightly after 8pm, first dish came. I have no idea since when this became a compulsory ceremony, on every Chinese sit down dinner, they had to dim the lights and put loud music and send the first dish. No offense please, once in a while it does seems very attractive, but it has become compulsory, it literally disgust me.

终于在八点左右，上菜了。也不懂得什么时候开始有了上菜仪式。老大爷，别人结婚，当然是一堆新人猪脚吖，可是每每就是上菜仪式比结婚典礼还要隆重。每次就是把灯关掉，然后音乐放得震耳欲聋来上菜。大佬，一次半次还觉得新鲜，现在每次都搞，真的是厌倦了，看到想吐。

Anyway, food were ok. I guess attendees are more concern on the magic water that can drive people up the wall, I think this time they did it good. Supply never run off.

菜肴，还好啦，不差。我想当晚到场的人都不是为了食物，而是为了那些神奇水，喝了母猪都会爬树的神奇水。我觉得参加这么多年车总晚宴，这一次的安排最妥当了。食物，有就可以了，这一次的神奇水可说是犹如滔滔江水，绵绵不绝，又如黄河泛滥，一发不可收拾。
