Is thickly dark

Against its formless posture...

Against this avalanche
Of icy wintry snow

Even when the light
Whimpers before the dark,
Receding...

Violent winds
Virulent storms
In their midst
My heart untouched
For on Love's wings
It soars far beyond
Hurt or harm...

In the deep blue
The battle is stiff
Its fury a deadly threat...

But love has a way
A way on wings
And the storms cry
In deafening defeat...
🌹
But my heart?
On Love's wings
Untouched it soars
Unscathed
To a new world
A new place...
Made for me
Made for you...
