Steemitcentral Lyrics Challenge Day 7/60 - Going to California - Jimmy Page and Robert Plant

I never expected to go to California, but I did. I raised @bxlphabet there, and stayed for over 20 years. This song is one of striving in the face of difficulties, and keeps me on track in life.

The line that most resonates with me is, and always has been:

Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams

I used to write this on walls when I was a teenaged runaway in the 1970’s. I was not going to California; I was just going. It is never as hard as it seems
