Learning to ride a bike!

What better to do on a Saturday morning to learn the youngest one to ride a bike. As a parent it is always hard to do because your own kids tend not to believe your tips. Add to that that the smallest failure or crash does decrease their willingness to learn!

So in our town, classes are given to learn how to ride a bike. It takes 2 hours and the results were amazing.

The location: the class was given in a sports hall. So no traffic, less distraction and a flat underground.

They also have some aids. A bar which is mounted below the saddle so you can easily keep them up right!

We did try some times at home but he quickly gave up. Now there was a little bit more positive peer pressure! This cannot be underestimated.
And yes after two hours of practice and full of tips. He did ride a complete round without aids and without hands from mum and dad!

Well done son!

This is also a test to see if post from esteem will appear on palnet.

Cheers,
Peter

Great initiative to get the confidence going in a quiet place, teaching is best done by someone outside of the home.

Hope you son has many happy hours outdoors enjoying cycling @fullcoverbetting
