Walking miles to school
I still wonder, what would we or our kids be doing if they were told that they have to walk not 4 to 5 but even 1 mile to their school each day? I don't see a lot of kids doing that easily, but then come these people living in the mountains. Walking miles to their schools each day, that too on tough roads and unpredictable weather conditions. A big salute to all the kids living in the north that have less facilities but more of an ambition to educate themselves as well as others around them, and be a change for their people. Conditions make people become tough for sure.
This was a memory from our tour to the north late last year.

Government has very little to do in that regard, the place is tough for transportation and buildings. But yes,I would prefer education over guns any given day

Howdy sir hananali! Why don't they have buses there, no budget for them? It must take them a long time to get to school!
I don't know about buses but U didn't see any and the roads don't support a lot of buses either. People tend to walk more
I guess the area is too poor and too remote for buses. I wonder if that long walk will be a help or is it wasting their time? It should help make them tougher as well as help keep them in shape.
True, it helps them stay tougher and fitter but resources are limited and people tend to live more close to nature
