Some flowers produce diaspora without fertilization (partenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are a site in developing managametofit. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, thus causing them to be vectors for pollen transfer. After fertilization, the flower ovary develops into a fruit containing seeds.
