We had a nice time earlier strolling around Birmingham, home to Europe’s largest public library and also home to Shakespeare’s greatest collection. Cool restaurants too!
The weather is so chilly though. Would defenitely come back here in summer time.
When we got home, I made a caramel shortbread which is known here also as millionaires shortbread. I’m not sure why they called it “millionaires shortbread” though 😅. I guess it’s because it’s so rich in sweetness! So when I made my own, I use a dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate to reduce the sweetness and our guest love it. The husband can’t wait to have bite! 🤤
