Cityscape Photography contest: thaiphotocontest32; cityscape by the Chao Phraya River, วิวริมแม่นํ้าเจ้าพระยา

This few days the weather in Bangkok has become very hot, almost up to 38 degree Celsius. This makes it very difficult to concentrate on my lists of work! I keep wanting to go o shopping mall to enjoy the cool air conditioning and see all the colourful displays during the Chinese New Year week.

So,I think I’d better post some cityscape photos by the Chao Phraya River to cool myself down a bit. Even though the sun was hot on that day, I would feel very cool and relaxed while traveling on the express boat to Wat Arun. That glass building was built on the land behind the old Post Office building which was established during the Reign of King Rama V. The modern building really stands out by the river; it’s glass panels reflect the beautiful sunset in the evening.

สองสามวันนี้ที่กรุงเทพฯ มีฝุ่นน้อยลงไปมาก ท้องฟ้าสดใส แต่อากาศร้อนมากขึ้นหลายองศา เกือบทะลุ 38 องศา เซลเซียสแล้ว ทำให้เรารู้สึกอึดอัดมาก และขี้เกียจทำงาน อยากจะไปเดินเล่นตามห้างที่มีแอร์เย็นสบาย เพื่อเดินดูการแต่งร้านในช่วงเทศกาลตรุษจีนด้วย เราจึงค้นหารูปวิวริมแม่นํ้าเจ้าพระยามาโพสต์ เพื่อให้ดูแล้วตนเองเย็นลงและสงบลงบ้าง จะได้ดูภาพโทนสีเย็นๆ ภาพนี้เราถ่ายมาตอนนั่งเรือไปเที่ยววัดอรุณ เดือนกว่ามาแล้ว แม้ว่าตอนนั้นอากาศจะร้อน แต่เรากลับรู้สึกเย็นสบายและสนุกกับการดูวิวรอบริมฝั่งแม่น้ำ

ตึกที่มีบานกระจกสีเขียว เป็นตึกใหม่ที่สร้างขึ้นบนพื้นที่ด้านหลัง ที่ทำการไปรษณีย์แห่งแรก ที่สร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 เวลาพระอาทิตย์ตก ตึกนี้จะสะท้อนแสงอาทิตย์ได้บาดตามากๆ แสงสีทองสีส้มจะสดและเรืองรองจนเราไม่อยากไปไหน แต่เวลานั่งอยู่ในเรือด่วนนี่ เราจะหามุมถ่ายรูปยากมาก คงต้องหาเวลาลงไปที่ท่านํ้าฝั่งตรงข้ามสักวันหนึ่ง ไม่ว่าอากาศจะเป็นอย่างไร เราจะรู้สึกดีเสมอเมื่อเราได้ไปอยู่ริมแม่น้ำ คงต้องมีพลังดีๆที่แม่นํ้าอย่างแน่นอน
