Wednesday Walk:Walking along Wireless road to do some shopping, เดินเล่นที่ถนนวิทยุเพื่อไปช็อปปิ้ง

This is my entry for ###wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. Last weekend I went for a walk along Wireless road. I got off the bus at the corner of the road where there are modern skyscrapers.

This road was constructed in 1920 and it’s name was given by King Rama VI. The road passed by the first radio station in Siam,hence the name Wireless road. Nowadays, there are 22 embassies and counsels along this road. The most expensive and luxurious condominiums can be found here too.

Traffic jam during rush hours is a routine feature in this road. But the old trees along this road help to calm the mood of drivers.

There is a big Indian god shrine at the entrance of a big hotel called Plaza Athenee. This hotel has a coffee shop near the entrance and there is a big reduction of bakery and cakes in the evening.

สุดสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาเราไปเดินเล่นที่ถนนวิทยุ เราลงรถเมล์ที่หัวมุมถนน ทำให้ได้เดินถ่ายรูปเล่น และดูต้นไม้ตามถนน ถนนสายนี้ถูกสร้างในสมัยรัชกาลที่6 และตัดผ่านสุานีวิทยุแห่งแรกในสยาม ในหลวงรัชกาลที่6 จึงพระราชทานชื่อว่า ถนนวิทยุ ในถนนสายนี้ มีสถานฑูตและสถานกงสุลทั้งหมด 22แห่ง จัดได้ว่าเป็นถนนที่มีความสำคัญมาก และค่อนข้างจะไฮโซมากๆ แถวนี้มีคอนโดสุดหรูและราคาแพงที่สุด ไม่ไกลจากที่นี่ก็มีแหล่งช็อปปิ้งหรูหรา เช่น เซ็นทรัลเอ็มบาสซี่ เซ็นทรัลชิดลม เซ็นทรัลเวิล์ด เกสรและอัมรินทร์พลาซ่า ต่อไปถึงสยามและ พารากอน

ที่หน้าโรงแรมพลาซ่าแอททีนี เขาจะขายขนมและเค็กทีหน้าร้านกาแฟในราคาพิเศษตอนเย็น คนแย่งกันเลือกซื้อทีเดียว ที่นี่มีต้นไม้ใหญ่ร่มรื่นดี มีที่ให้เดินเล่นนั่งจิบกาแฟมองดูถนนและคนเดืนผ่านไปมา คนที่อยู่แถวนี้ก็พาลูกมาเดินเล่นกัน ถนนวิทยุมีความยาวเกือบสี่กิโล แต่ราคาที่ดินสูงมากตารางวาละเกือบสองล้านบาท แถวนี้รถติดในชั่วโมงเร่งด่วน แต่มีต้นไม้ใหญ่มากและอยู่ใกล้ศูนย์กลางแหล่งธุรกิจ
