mango tree plant

Hi....
today I feel satisfied and happy because the mango tree that I planted in the framework of utilizing the empty yard of the house has been fruitful, and I want to immediately enjoy the mango fruit from my own cultivation.

on this occasion I will also share with my friends here about mango plants.The mango plant that I photographed is in the front yard of the house.

Mango trees are plants that have erect trunks, have many branches, leaf shady and green throughout the year. Adult mango trees can reach 10 - 40 meters high.
mango tree consists of parts of roots, stems, leaves and flowers. Mango flowers produce seeds that can generatively grow into new plants.
in this post I will not discuss the roots of mango plants because I do not have pictures.

Stems of Mango Plants

Woody mango tree trunks with thick and rough mango tree bark and dark brown to blackish gray color. Tree trunks have twigs on each stem.

Leaf of Mango Plant

The leaves are green, alternating alternately, and have an oval shape with a pointed tip, the edges of the leaves are wavy with a leaf length of about 10-35 cm and a width of 5-16 cm depending on the variety. Young mango leaves are usually reddish, purplish or yellowish, if the leaves are old, they will change on the upper surface to shiny green, while the lower surface is light green.

mango flower is a compound flower that is rooted in many branched panicles at the end of the branch. Wreaths are usually hairy, but some are also bald, greenish yellow, up to 40 cm in length. This compound flower consists of the main axis which has many main branches. Each of these main branches has many branches, namely the second branch. It is possible that this second flower branch has a group consisting of 3 flowers or has three branches. Each group of three flowers consists of three flowers and each short stem with small leaves.

Mangoes are a group of fleshy fruit (drupa), with sizes and shapes that vary greatly depending on the type, ranging from round (eg gedong mango), ovoid (gadung, indramayu, arumanis) to elongated oval (mango golek) .Length of the fruit is approximately 2.5-30 cm.At the end of the fruit, there is a pointed part called the beak.At the top of the beak there is a bent part called the sinus, which is continued to the abdomen.
