Short Poem: Power of the Pen
The pen can solve problems between haters,
No words uttered just ink on papers.
Words, agreement - peace - no sorrow,
No violence - no war - no lamenting tomorrow.

My thoughts
Words and communication is so important in relationships between individuals as well as countries. As the saying goes “the pen is mightier than the sword” - means that communication is an effective ways of getting matter settled more so than fighting. This is evidence via peace treaties for instance.
Have you ever considered how powerful the written words can be. Propaganda or facts -written words are very persuasive. People tend to believe what they read. Some books are read hundreds of years later too.
Writing down words can also have a very therapeutic influence. Is that why we are busy writing this blog? The power of our own words(computer written or not) - the written words helping to quell any inner “war” - turmoil - disquiet or just providing pleasure.
What do you think about the “Power of the Pen” ?
Sometimes it is better to say instead of writing it down. Once seeing it, black on white, some words might be harder to forget and starting to live their own life.
It is something to think about so I share.
