My thoughts
If one has talent that is a blessing. However, many of us know that having talent alone is not enough to achieve our goals. Some talented people do nothing with their gift. If one applies their talent (natural or learned) and have a vision/goal and also works hard then achieving one's goal becomes more likely.
- Does that mean that success will be achieved?
- Do you know anyone that works hard but is still not successful?
Bear in mind that success is not necessarily of a financial nature - it is about setting goals and accomplishing them.
Hence I believe that one needs some luck or good fortune as well. Some might not call it luck and some believe that that we create our own luck through hard work. I believe that one has to be in the right place or have the right circumstance to be successful - sometimes it is the right timing that is needed or meeting the right person, for instance.

Thanks for your comment. Success means different things to everyone. However I think it is achieving any goals that we set out to accomplish.
