Once upon a time.

In a kingdom, the King held a contest.
With prizes in the form of precious gold to the people who can paint about "peace".
When it was announced, many artists and painters tried to join the competition and tried hard to win the race.

The promised time arrived.

Your Majesty came to the place where the artists painted and toured their works. Among the many paintings, there are only two paintings that are truly the most favored by the King, who are considered capable of representing the theme of peace. And the King must choose one of the two.

The first painting depicts a calm lake.

The surface of the lake was like a perfect mirror that reflected peace, green mountains that towered around the lake, above which was a blue sky with white clouds marching. What a beautiful landscape painting. All who look at this painting will argue, this is a painting of soul peace for those who see it.

Whereas the second painting depicts the landscape of the mountains too. But it looks rough, bald, and barren. On it was painted a dark and red sky signifying the falling rainstorm that had subsided.
On the side of the mountain, there was a heavy, bubbly waterfall. At first glance, the painting does not at all reveal calmness and peace. But, the King saw something interesting. Behind the waterfall grew green bushes on the sidelines of the rocks.
And in between the bushes, it appears that a mother sparrow is at the top of her nest, is incubating its eggs and seen a new life in the form of sparrows hatching from broken eggs. Really beautiful and peaceful.

Which painting won the race?

The King chose painting number two as the winner. Many people also asked:
Why was the painting won by the King?

Your Majesty answered aloud, "Look at the sparrows in this painting, able to describe a new peace, responsibility, and life. See a picture of a bad and unsupporting natural situation, but a sparrow mother fulfills all her responsibilities, still incubating her eggs until they hatch .

That peace does not mean we have to be in a place without commotion, difficulties, or hard and busy work. Peace is a calm and peaceful mood and mind.
Even though we are in the midst of a tremendous commotion but are not influenced by external circumstances. Peace of mind is the ability to maintain balance and wisdom in all situations and still be able to carry out their responsibilities properly. "

All who heard the words of the king silently nodded their heads in agreement.

All Friends

Being able to remain peaceful in the midst of "chaos" or a noisy situation is indeed not easy. Usually we tend to dissolve in it, maybe even more chaotic and messy.

If our hearts and minds are not able to calm down, we will also be easily provoked, consumed by negative issues and life will be tossed around.
Therefore, our opportunity to feel peace and happiness is lost. Let's take care of our own hearts and minds to always be calm and peaceful so that happiness will be ours forever.
