REST, You Need It!
Rest is one thing everyone of us needs but somehow we have convinced ourselves that it isn't really important. We have become so filled up with activities in our own lives that we forget that we are not made of steel. We are all humans and as such, we need rest!
Someone once said something that has stocked with me over the years. I will be willing to share it with you now so you could learn from it as well. Here it is:
Some people claim that they are too busy to rest. Well, if you are too busy for rest, then you are too busy to live. Non can truly live without resting. ~Smith Allen
Let's consider that last statement again. He stated that, Non can truly live without resting!
And guess what? He said something equally important or even more important. In fact, this other statement is life transforming! Really, I bet it is! He said: If you can't create time for rest; you can't create time for life!
Nowadays, people give so much time to their jobs that they have no time left to give to themselves. You must deliberately find a way to rest. And feel good doing so. Don't be caught up with the thought that: "resting is a waste of time". Resting is one of the best use of your time!
HOW TRUE?
You know, I really see that or I really do consider that statement to be a statement of truth. Because the truth of that statement has been seen throughout the world today.
Or, let me ask you this question: haven't you heard about how people lose their life just because they were too busy to take a break. Please, create time to rest.
The sincere truth is, if you don't take a break, you will break!. So, why not ask yourself: Do I want to break?
