Fantastic Morning Walk At Trinity Beach | MVD

For today’s morning walk, my husband and I went to Trinity Beach.

Trinity Beach is one of the 10 Northern Beaches of Cairns. I recently shared pictures and an article where I talked about Palm Cove. Well, Trinity Beach is a bit more in the South then Palm Cove, but both are well known by travelers.

Trinity Beach has way more Hotels, Holiday Apartments, and Resorts than Palm Cove but fewer restaurants. Which is why both are running well for tourists.

Trinity Beach has a beautiful beach where you can walk on, or you can use the path as well. It’s common that people are waking up very early to see the sunrise but also go for a walk or a run. Most people have dogs with them too.

If you were thinking that my husband and I are crazy because we are waking up so early, well then I guess most of the people are too because they are doing the same as we do (;

Also, there are many benches and BBQ areas where you can spend your time at the beach, but Trinity Beach has lying benches too which is available for the public. I believe that they are the first that have these!

Sooooo relaxing!

If you are walking towards the right and at the end of the street, you will see that there is a little mountain that you can walk up to and watch the sunrise from there!

On the way up, you’ll need to cross the beach and a little path. If you walk up, you need to be careful that you’re not walking into little animals, etc. because there are lots of trees and animals feel at home because not many people pass this track.

Here are some of them:

Moving onto the sunrise, depending on the weather you will either see it or not. At Trinity Beach, the sunrise isn’t in the ‘’middle’’ of the beach because of some mountains. That’s why you can walk up the mountain.

Palm Cove is a bit different because there aren’t mountains that are around to block you from seeing the sunrise.

BUT if you are on top of that mountain, you’ll see a beautiful sunrise plus Trinity Beach from far away, and you’ll see Yorkeys Knob as well.

I told you the last time, that if you are lucky and waking up early for the morning walk, you’ll see dolphins. I couldn’t see them in Palm Cove, but I did see them today at Trinity. It’s so difficult to take a picture of them because you never know where they’ll pop up again. But I could capture one of three.

On our way back to the beach, we found 2 sea stars which we put into the water again, plus lots of little fish and prawns (were already dead) which we don’t understand why they were washed up, maybe because of the season that everyone is having babies and they didn’t make it?! I don’t know, it was weird.

Other than that, it was a fantastic morning walk and so relaxing! It's funny that every time we are done with our morning walk, and we are going back to the car, we kind of fall into a sleepy mood where we both could lay down directly and sleep.
