Empty Road - Poem
The memories fading as they go,
With the taste of them fading into air.
A strangest form of brotherhood,
Being formed in the deepest corner.
A city of turmoil,
But of hope nevertheless.
The knights bellow a cry of war,
For conquest and invading was the times of all.
It was a circle of supernatural,
Ghosts if you may, but the truth was the same.
As clash of cultures and beliefs,
Formed a loop of never ending pain.
Preachers set about talking of a future,
One that was ever out of reach.
It was time to decide,
To settle or flee.
