My photo journey…… Day 97 - 200 years and so much work

Today I'll show you why I have so little time to write on Steem :-)
But first, three more photos to relax. Of course….. it is the beach of Kirkcaldy, with a view of the Firth of Forth ( scotland ).

As you may know, our house in scotland is already 200 years old, and it needs some renovation. The previous owner did almost nothing at the house, and today you can see that disaster everywhere . Everything in the house has been painted in white ( what a horror ). I have to remove all the white paint :(
A real pain was the railing in the stairwell, but I am satisfied with the result.

Wie ihr vielleicht wisst ist unser Haus in Schottland schon 200 Jahre alt, und muss deshalb etwas renoviert werden. Der Vorbesitzer hat an dem Haus so gut wie nichts gemacht, und so siecht es heute auch aus. Alles im Haus ist weiß gestrichen worden….. das muss wieder ab!!
Eine echte Qual war das Geländer im Treppenhaus, aber mit dem Ergebnis bin ich dann doch zufrieden :)

Next project ....two rooms, one on the ground floor and the other on the second floor. On the ground floor I had to change the door to the room first, and …. of course, remove a lot of white paint .

Als nächstes sind zwei Zimmer dran, eines im Erdgeschoss und das andere in der 2 Etage. Im Erdgeschoss musste ich eine Tür versetzen, und …. natürlich viel weiße Farbe entfernen.

As you can see, there is still a lot of work to do, so i have to stop writing now and must go into room number 1..? or 2...? :-)

Das ist der Stand heute, und wie ihr sehen könnt liegt noch viel Arbeit vor mir. Also muss ich hier jetzt aufhören und an die Arbeit gehen :-)
