Fantasy football - Week one.
Week 1 results.
Big wins in week one for Liverpool, City and United. To be fair, there were also some great results from Burnley and Brighton as well. I think the United one was the most surprising as they were playing a very young team against another strong opposition so it's unusual to beat a big 6 team by this many goals. Usually it tends to be a 1-0 affair among the top teams.
Week 1 points.
Solid result with 73 points from week 1. Not brilliant but solid. My defense held fairly strong with only one player conceding which is always a nice bonus. Midfield killed me a small bit but I expect Zaha and Rice to have a good year and will stick with them for a while longer. The strikers went well with 3 goals between them but it's a pity i hadn't put the captain on Rashford. With that said i didn't expect United to score 4 against Chelsea so made sense at the time.
I know I should have some Liverpool players in my front half as they will score a lot this season but I just can't do it to the team.
Week 1 League standings.
Sitting around the middle with most of my leagues for now. Some people had great results and there were a lot of teams that broke the 100 point mark this week. Steel's playground is the league for my mates so happy enough to be up there as it's all about the bragging rights. As for the rest it's a long way to go so it should be fun to watch.
Mhh, Just scored a little bit more with 78 points. Still I do consider this a great start. For sure if you know that I did try to select as many as Belgian players as possible!
Guess I do need to find some more leagues to enter!

I think it's a very good score for most weeks. Lots of people breaking 100 points isn't normal but there were so many with liverpool and city players that there were big scores to be had. I was fairly happy with my own result.

Nice. That's fairly solid. It's just been a crazy kind of week with sterling and lots of goals around the place.
