With serener environment, greenery vegetation, amazing wild lives and lots of enticing games you would be surprised as to how the conservation center has remain top notch after 27 years of establishment.
The lekki conservation center since its establishment in 1990 has grown into one of African’s pro and most diverse urban natural park to its species and richness. It is located in Lagos state Nigeria immediately after chevron before the 2nd lekki toll gate; it covers a land area of 78 hectares.

The lekki conservation center is an off-shoot of Nigeria conservation foundation (NCF) an NGO which preserves nature parks and conservation centers round Nigeria which spring as a result of set aside a natural habitat for plants and animals.

The relaxation center which offers a scenic, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere is the reason why lekki conservation center has remain one of the most visited reserves in Nigeria; the climax of fun is the bird eye view of the forest and some other parts of Lagos walking on the canopy walkway, this has remain the longest canopy walkway in Africa with a height of 22.5ft. Among others is the sight of 95 years old tortoise, the tortoise roam freely as it is a very slow paced animal this makes it possible for visitors to take selfies with the tortoise.
After an enthralling climbs you might also want to play chess and other games.

OLUMO ROCK:

The olumo rock meaning under the rock sits in the ancient city of Abeokuta Ogun state and has been one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nigeria and West Africa.

During the ancient times the Olumo rock served as a source of shelter for the Egba people who found refuge during the intertribal war in the 19th century and also as a vantage point to monitor enemy advancement and also serve as barricades for defense.

The Olumo rock stands at a height of 137 meters above sea level, not very difficult to climb with man-made stairs carved into the rock to making it easier to climb for visitors, there is also an alternative via the elevator in case you don’t want to pass through the hassle of climbing by foot although comes at a cost.
At the Olumo rock you would be treated to attractions like natural tunnels, unusual trees, natural cantilevers, gardens on the rock, broken pathways, monuments of the belief system of the rocks primeval settlers etc.
