How to control the mind and senses?

Without dispassion control of the mind and senses is not possible. A critical knowledge that all objects of sensuous enjoyment are perishable and consist of sorrow leads to dispassion and even so the practice of adoration and meditation to gives rise to dispassion.

The mind is restless no doubt, and difficult to curve, but it can be brought under control through repeated practice of meditation and by cultivating dispassion side by side to meditation.

O Soul, you must control first your senses and them get rid of this evil thing which obstructs jnana and vijnana. The senses are said to be greater than the body and the mind is greater than the senses, greater than the mind is the intellect and what is greater than the intellect is He, the Lord. So kill this enemy in the form of desire that is hard to overcome.

By controlling as aforesaid the mind, intellect and senses and applying them all to God who is truth, consciousness and bliss combined, man attains the highest good. Those whose mind and intellect are wholy merged in Him who remain constantly established in identity with Him and have finally become one with Him, there since being wiped out by wisdom, reach the state whence there is no return. So my dear friends and fellow readers if you follow these above given steps in your daily living and practices it will definitely give you the way to whom you can find yourself closer to that stage where you feel and react like a Saint who has complete control in his mind and senses and it should be the most important goal of every human being to achieve attain and keep sustain to that level till the end of this journey which is very beautiful and full of happiness, excitement and success.
