The main attractions of the Marina Bay Sands – apart from the Casino, are the Sands SkyPark and the Infinity Pool.

The Infnity Pool is opened to hotel guests only. So, if you want to take a dip in the pool, you have to stay at the hotel. The Sands SkyPark is opened to public for an entrance fee of $20/- SGD.
I had the opportunity to take a look at the Infinity Pool and the Sands SkyPark because a friend of mine was staying at the hotel.
From the SkyPark and the Infinity Pool one can get a paramount view of the Gardens by the Bay and beyond. Breath-taking views.
I think those who paid the $20 fee will agree that it was worth it - especially if you planned it such that you were up there just before the sun set, and then stayed to take in the night scene as well. There are a couple of restaurants up there, and if you don't mind paying a bit more for a meal, I am sure it would be nice to have a meal while enjoying the night scenery and taking in the atmosphere.
Unfortunately, it rained in the evening on the day of my visit. It dampened my enjoyment of the evening views from the SkyPark and the Infinity Pool. Still, the day was well spent.
No, I didn't go into the Infinity Pool. I wasn't prepared for that.
