Flowers at eight (Turnera subulata) include one member of flowering plants. This flower belongs to the Turneraceae tribe. Green leaves 2-7 cm long and 1-4 cm wide. Single leaf, elliptical leaves with tapered ends and coarse jagged leaf edges. Leaf bones pinnate and have bud glands. These flowers only bloom for a few hours, around 8 am until around 12 noon. Therefore, this type of plant is called an eight o'clock flower.
